”Through expressive minimalist illustrations, ethereal sound design, sharp writing, and thematic coherence, the chaos and serenity of young adulthood jumps out of its pages for a story that's heartbreaking, heartwarming, and wholly affecting.”
9/10 – Gamespot

“If Found bridges the gaps between a handful of different mediums and artistic disciplines to create a sad, poignant, ultimately uplifting tale.”
9/10 – Paste Magazine

“There's a stunning beauty to If Found, and it goes further than the gorgeous painting aesthetic of Kasio's journey.”

History & Awards

Dreamfeel started in 2014 with the release of CURTAIN by Llaura McGee. Following multiple awards in 2015 including the Amaze Berlin Grand Prize, & the Writer's Guild of Ireland's first ever award to a video game, Llaura incorporated Dreamfeel and soon started working with artist Liadh Young.

Over 2016 & 2017, Llaura & Liadh developed multiple prototypes and concepts, including what would become If Found... This original prototype even won three awards and a commendation at the 2016 Irish Design Awards, including Emerging Talent and the overall Grand Prize. This was also the first time a video game was ever even nominated for an Irish Design Award.

In 2018 Dreamfeel started working with Annapurna Interactive, the team grew, and in 2020 the game was released to acclaim appearing on many game of the year lists and winning multiple awards, such as 2021 Pégases Best International Mobile Game, 2021 Gayming Award for Best LGBTQ Indie Game, Best LGBT Narrative, 2020 Imirt Awards for Best Game Narrative and Game of the Year, as well as being nominated for The Game Awards 2020.

Many more dreamfeel games & projects are available at Itch.io.

Since the end of 2020 the team, now 10 people, has been in development on an ambitious new title in collaboration with Annapurna Interactive.
